Summer Vacation 2019, Part 3: And back to Canada we go!

As we return to our intrepid adventurers, they are on the road again.

This time, we were heading through Idaho and Montana, on our way back to Canada!

With requisite stops to prove Calista can lick her elbow,

and to go to the bathroom and get a drink of water.

We made it to Raymond in time for Canada Day, obviously.

No pictures of just Caleb because he didn't want to leave the swingset. Haha

Even the group picture took some work...

We went to the parade, which was a lot of fun.

Caleb mostly stayed close to us.

Calista, on the other hand, is a fantastic age for candy collection, and between she and Craig, we had quite the haul. Though Calista did give quite a few pieces to her youngest cousin, Bella.

And both of them (and Scarlett) took  a few dance breaks.
After a quiet afternoon, we headed to dinner,

tag,

and a show, celebrating Grandma Maria.

She turned 70 this year!

My favorite part (and the funniest part) of the show was the play written by Scarlett

about how Ken and Maria met. So hilarious!


We spent a couple more days around Raymond, mostly helping Maria clean out some upstairs closets. We also had some time to play, though.

Gotta make sure there's time to play, always!

There was also time for an art lesson with Grandma Maria

and some time to rest.

And then it was time to go home, and rest even more. Vacations are exhausting!
