No Trojan Horses, But He's Six!

Caleb is six!

Caleb wanted a giant horse statue fort with a door in its belly in the backyard for his birthday. In spite of the fact that he did not receive his own Trojan horse, he still said that this was the best birthday ever!

We started with a lovely breakfast of waffles with whipped cream and chocolate chips.

The chocolate chips were on top of the waffles, instead of mixed in, at Caleb's request. Because it's his birthday!

Then it was time for presents.

No Trojan horse, 

But books and toys that we, of course, had to read immediately

And play with promptly.

How high does the moon ball bounce?

After a lunch of ramen, we headed to his soccer game.

The Emerald Dragons won, making a good birthday even better!

After a dinner of homemade pizza, it was time for the big one.

The cookie cake. I wisely only did 2 layers this year, and it was still a chunk of a thing.
