Rasmussen Thanksgiving

We weren't really planning on driving down to Raymond for Thanksgiving this year. But, did we want to go for Christmas this year? Not really... 

The thing that really put us over the edge and made us travel down was learning that our niece/cousin Brooklyn was going to have her mission farewell on Sunday, and then both she and Ivory (another niece/cousin) were going to go through the temple for the first time the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. How can we pass up the opportunity to support them in this? Answer: we couldn't. So driving down we went.

Favorite Season

Have I ever mentioned that fall (autumn) is my favorite season?

Because it is.

With Red Sprinkles

Craig's birthday began the night before, when he had a friend over to play games.

Both video and physical.

And, then, of course, the real big day came. We were pretty busy, but we started the day by opening presents.

He was pretty excited to get them.

And play with them.

After presents was quickly picking up donations for the food drive and then lunch!

Craig picked McDonald's - with a play place.

That was a requirement.

The afternoon was spent relaxing, which to Craig means video games.

He was a happy little bugger.

And, after dinner (pizza!), it was time for cake.

And singing, of course.

Chocolate cake with chocolate frosting and red sprinkles. That last part is pretty important.

But not as important as the birthday boy himself. Happy birthday, Craig! We love you.
