On the Move!

Completed!

Watch your valuables, shut your basement door! This little guy

is coming for you!

Caleb has progressed from inchworm and army crawl to a true legit crawl, and he is enjoying his new-found freedom greatly.

He will also follow the laser point we bought for the cat, much to my amusement.

Good job, Caleb! Halfway through your goals for the year, and it's only February!

One of our 2017 goals: See the woolly mammoth at the dinosaur museum (Craig's suggestion)
Completed! (Back in January)

One slightly foggy Saturday afternoon, we headed to Drumheller to see the woolly mammoth, and some dinosaurs, too.

"Hey, it's Black Beauty, my favorite dinosaur!"

As usual, the kiddos loved it.

Caleb was old enough to enjoy it a bit, too.

Calista and (especially) Craig were constantly on the move.

It was difficult to get a decent picture of them sometimes.

But when we got to the Woolly Mammoth, we had to try,

...mostly a success.

And definitely a success finishing one of the items on our list. Yay for 2017 Goals!

2017 Goals - The List

Back at the start of the new year, we made a list of resolutions and goals for 2017. We asked for the kiddos input, and the following is a small sampling of what we came up with:

Family

See woolly mammoth at the dinosaur museum (Craig's suggestion) ✔
Fun road trip vacation - Oregon trip?
Alberta National Parks (Banff, Waterton, Elk Island, Jasper) - we wanted to do every National Park in Alberta, and then realized that there is one [Wood Buffalo NP] that straddles the Alberta/NW Territories border and is 14+ hours away. Also, the entrance is in NWT, so it doesn't count as an Alberta NP, right...? ✔
