Four months for #3

I'm having trouble believing it, but it's true:
This little guy is 4 months old!

He is very smiley, and we love it.
Caleb loves to smile at people, and loves when someone talks just to him.
Especially Calista, who is somewhat obsessed with him. She insists that Caleb sit in his bouncy chair right next to her chair whenever she's eating, and gets distracted easily by him. Oh well, at least she loves him.

He is still surviving being the youngest. Like I mentioned, Calista is obsessed with Caleb.
Most of the time, this manifests itself by her laying with him, holding him, reading to him, and so on.
Taking selfies with him...
But sometimes she does things he doesn't appreciate, like putting earmuffs on him or constantly touching him.
Still, we're usually pretty happy with how Calista treats Caleb.
Which totally sounds like I'm setting up Craig, doesn't it? Craig actually isn't too bad.
Pokes at Caleb a bit, but usually semi-gently. And Craig is getting better, too.
They sleep well together, too.
I'm not sure how he'll do when Caleb is capable of stealing his toys, but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.

Caleb sucks on his hands, a lot. Drools a bit, too.
Sometimes it's kind of gross, but in a cute way, of course. Because this boy is cute. I mean, adorable. (Craig says Caleb isn't cute, he's adorable.)

Tummy time is pretty successful these days, but what is most successful is floor time on his back.
Caleb can roll onto his side whenever he wants, usually when he's trying to look at something, and even sometimes manages to roll onto his tummy, where he is stuck.

Feeding is still going great, which means Caleb is still growing and gaining weight, up to 15 pounds now. He still wakes up once or twice a night to eat, but usually not more than that, so I don't complain too much.

I tried to stop swaddling him, because he is starting to roll over a bit, and then he kept waking up from naps and putting him to bed took 2 hours. The day I started swaddling him again, he took a 3-hour afternoon nap and went to bed the first attempt. I suppose Caleb isn't ready to give up the swaddle quite yet.

Grammie and Grandpa May and Aunt Loradona came to visit for his blessing (post forthcoming), and we've been enjoyed the end of summer/beginning of fall, so he gets dragged around everywhere.
Good thing Caleb likes the baby carrier!

Caleb got his first real experience in a pool this last month, on Craig's birthday. He screamed when he first touched the water, but he got used to it. He spent the entire time in my arms or Kyler's, eyes wide open, not smiling, but not crying, either.
And then he fell asleep wrapped in his towel while I was changing his diaper in the dressing room when we were done. Looking around in shock for over an hour will exhaust you, it seems.

Just in the last little while, Caleb has started actually trying to play with (translation: eat) toys.
He's not always great at getting them to his mouth, but when he succeeds, he is pretty happy about it.
Of course, this meas the playmat has actually started to be fun!
Yay toys!

And, lastly, one last new favorite thing (of mine and Caleb's!): cooing. Squealing. Make noises. He loves to make sounds. I love to hear him make sounds. It's a great relationship. Oh, what's that? You want proof he's adorable while he makes these sounds? Ask and ye shall receive:
Adorable, right?

Happy four months, Caleb!
We are glad to have you around!
